A 50 year tradition of excellence.

Our Philosophy

Established in 1971, Stroudsburg Cross Country Camp is the longest running cross country camp in the Northeast. Our philosophy is to build strength, endurance, and flexibility, while reinforcing a growth mindset. The camp staff prioritizes work ethic, develops teamwork, and analyzes training habits. The coaches teach and analyze proper form while creating a positive attitude about cross country, distance running, and endurance training.

All Levels Welcome

Each year, 250 distance runners from the Northeast begin their competitive season by attending this 6 day summer workshop. This co-educational camp caters to runners at any level and can increase their potential through group and individual training activities. During this time, runners are challenged to grow as leaders on their teams.

Knowledgeable Staff

Highly experienced coaches are always available to share training methods and philosophies with any athlete in the camp. Each runner’s personal style and performance are constantly evaluated, and the camp creates a common language and understanding of what drives distance runners to succeed.
